Lexie is exceptionally clever, having already learned basic commands through sign language, and she's eager to continue impressing her new family with her quick learning and playful spirit. When relaxing, Lexie enjoys chewing on a Nylabone or peanut butter Kong next to her person.<br/><br/> Lexie socializes very well with other dogs and loves to play with large dogs; she goes to play group once a week where her best friend is a deaf Pit Bull mix. Lexie would benefit from additional training and opportunity to go for jogs/runs. She definitely needs a fenced yard that she can run around in and play as well as going for walks. Lexie likes kids a lot and still acts puppyish - so she's approved for kids over 8 years old who she won't knock down due to her enthusiasm. She is crate trained, house trained and walks well on a leash.<br/><br/> This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, tested for diseases, provided inoculations, been dewormed, spayed, and microchipped.
