Lexi's Story
Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN

I'm Lexi and I'm about three months old and I weigh 15 pounds. My coat is super shiny and a little fluffy in some places and super soft. I have three resident dogs that play toys and tug of war with me. They tell me when I get a little too rough and I'm learning to take turns when it's treat time. I now sit, shake (working on timing) and I learned to come when my foster mom calls me. I have the pee pad thing aced. I have not pooped in my kennel or the house in over a month. I am learning what "no" means but I do need a few reminders now and then. When I'm outside I stay close and don't wander too far from my foster mom and dad or my big brother resident dogs. I am learning to ring the bells on the door to go outside and I scratch the door to come in (only because I haven't learned to knock yet!). I would love to have family of my own that will snuggle at night with me and hang out on the sofa. I'm hoping to have a big brother or sister or two to keep me busy but I can also be an only pup as long as you spoil me and spend a lot of time with me. Being in the kennel is not my favorite thing but I take naps in there every now and then and when mom and dad aren't home. I know you will fall in love with me if you meet

---------------

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved.
