Lexi's Story

Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN

I'm Lexi but my foster mom pretty much calls me Pretty Girl or Good Girl because I have learned to poop and potty outside. She thinks I'm so smart but I think she's the smart one for letting my brother and I outside about every 4-5 hours, except at night. We sleep thru the night and give her a few puppy barks in the morning to let us out again. After she lets us out, I love to grab a ball and play keep away from my brother and the resident dogs. They are mostly bigger than me but that doesn't scare me. After play time I get a treat to kennel up so mom can get ready for work. I love it when my foster mom holds me and cuddles me. I just put my chin under her neck and soak up all of the attention. I now know how to sit for a treat and am working on "shake". My timing is a little off but with more treats and more quality time with my foster mom, I'll get it. One day I hope to find a furever home so I can show others what I have learned.

---------------

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
