Lexi's Story
Meet Lexi!

3 years old. Poodle mix. Professional shadow. Part-time ankle licker.

Lexi is an adorable little poodle mix with a whole lot of personality packed into one fluffy package. Shes sweet, affectionate, playful, and absolutely loves attention. If youre looking for a little companion who wants to be wherever you are, Lexi would like to formally submit her application.

She loves being held, loves to run and play, and has perfected the art of following her person around like a tiny fluffy shadow. She also has a slightly unusual way of showing affection: she licks ankles. We dont know why. Lexi has her ways.

Lexi has IVDD, which leaves her hind legs a little weak and wobbly. But dont let the wobble fool you—this girl can walk, run, play, and get around all by herself! She does not currently need a wheelchair or other mobility aid.

She can also potty outside on her own, but she needs a little extra help afterward. Her bladder needs to be expressed to make sure the small amount she doesnt empty herself gets out. Its an extra bit of care, but once you learn how to do it, it simply becomes part of Lexis routine.

Lexi knows what she likes when it comes to company, too. Large dogs are not on her Christmas card list. Her ideal home would have:

No cats No other dogs, or possibly one smaller, compatible dog Older children, around 7+ Someone who understands that personal space is overrated and having a fluffy little shadow is actually a lifestyle.

Lexi may come with a couple of extra care instructions, but she also comes with an enormous supply of affection, silliness, playfulness, cuddles, and ankle kisses.
She doesnt need someone to feel sorry for her. She needs someone to adore her.

Could Lexi be your little shadow?
