Lexi's Story
Lexi is between 8 years old and weighs 75 lbs. She and a 3 year old male German Shepherd as well as two cats were left alone for 4 days without water and food. She had been neglected for some time before that. When rescued her nails were almost 2 inches long and she was suffering with acute flea dermatitis. The evicted family had 9 children and sweet Lexi likely raised many of them. She is easily learning to walk on a leash for the first time with the help of a Halti. Lexi is gentle, sweet, responsive, and very patient with her with her pushy young "brother" in the role of alpha. She is house trained and very calm in the house. She loves snuggling in her bed and enjoying her yard and toys. She has had a hard life and needs a home where she will be adored (preferably as the only dog)! Should you have questions about Lexi and are interested in the possibility of adopting her please call Julia at 518-697-9567 any day between the hours of 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. (Any other type of inquiry will only lead to you being asked to call.)
