I'm Levi and I find myself in a pickle. My mom is on hospice care, VERY, VERY ILL and will be leaving me very soon. She doesn't want to leave this world until she knows I am in a home where I am loved, cared for and adored, just like she has for some years. Mom's sisters are working very hard to find me a wonderful place to land. They are unable to take me due to other family members who are also very ill and require their undivided attention at this time!!<br/><br/>I am about 7 yrs old, and am a Pomeranian, Chihuahua, Shih Tzu mix. I am 21 lbs and could stand to lose some weight, I am current on vaccines and neutered. I take a Librela vaccine ($70) every few months or monthly for my arthritis in my hips.(whatever the vet thinks is necessary). I am pad trained and have had access to a doggie door. Since mom has not felt well for sometimes now, I am a little lax in going out to pottie, so I need some work in that area. This is an excellent bonding experience for a pet parent and new pet. My aunts are working on that now...taking me out for regular walks...and I am much improved. <br/><br/>I do like to herd people by ankle nipping. I would do best in a home with no other pets and no small children. <br/><br/>Because of my beautiful dense coat, I will need to be brushed regularly or taken for grooming. I am well cared for, so be prepared to care for me in " the style to which I have become accustomed".<br/><br/>If you think you would like to be my new pet parent and put my mom's heart at easy before the goes away, there is an application process, a home visit will be done before placement!! This application doesn't lock you in, it just gets the process started. <br/><br/>My adoption fee is $200. <br/><br/>PLEASE CONSIDER WHEN ADOPTING A PET, IT CAN BE A 15++ YR COMMITMENT. ADOPT RESPONSIBLY!!
