We can only help bring these dogs out of shelters if we have a foster (or foster to adopt) home for them. Fostering is free, all supplies are provided, and you get the opportunity to help a deserving dog! If you foster to adopt, you will have the option to adopt after approximately 2 weeks. MORE ABOUT LEVI: good with dogs | good with cats | good with children *Would do best fostered with a resident dog* Levi is one of 7 Puppies, who came to us as tiny babies with their mother, who had given birth in a neighbourhood, with no shelter or home or anyone to care for her. Their mother (Larissa) did a great job and all the puppies thrived. The pups have gone on to be well socialized, have attended events like puppy yoga and tea parties, and are great with people, children, and cats. They walk nicely on a lead and have medium to low energy levels. They are used to travelling in a car. Levi is his brother Legend’s loyal sidekick, often following his lead but growing into his own charming personality every day. He however, has a more gentle and affectionate nature. Levi is well-adjusted, enjoys being around people, and will happily join in when the fun starts. He’d do best in a loving home, ideally with another dog to help build his confidence even more. Alternatively, Levi and his brother Legend are very close, it would be a wonderful option for them to be adopted together, but they can also be adopted separately. Give this sweet pup a chance at a beautiful life and finding their forever family in Canada. They deserve so much more- can you be the one to help them in their time of need? Canine Haven Rescue's Adoption Policy

To adopt one of our dogs, please fill out an application. Although we do our best to reply to all inquiries within 48 hours, please remember we are a 100% volunteer based organization, and many of us have full time jobs outside of rescue. We appreciate your patience. Our priority is to ensure the fit is right for both you and the dog, we will reach out to your personal and veterinarian references (if applicable), and your landlord (if applicable). A virtual video or pictures of your place are required at the time of application. You will then be granted a private meet and greet with the dog. If after the meet and greet, you would like to proceed with adoption, we will review your application internally and with the foster and make a final decision.

Our Mission

Formed in 2013, a small scale dog rescue located in Ontario. We are a non-profit, volunteer-run, foster home based. None of our dogs are boarded in kennels upon arrival.
