He was found as a stray in Georgia and was moments away from being euthanized at the shelter when he was rescued, and he hasn't missed a beat since. Levi loves other dogs and would really enjoy a playful dog sibling in his new home, adores kids, and is so sweet with his people. He tends to be a little cautious in meeting strangers, but with a kind word and perhaps a treat, he is quick to make friends and will end up in their lap in no time. He has been living in a busy neighborhood and has enjoyed getting out and about, meeting all of the dogs and dog lovers. Levi weights about 33 lbs and has adapted quickly to the northern climate- he loves the snow and is game for anything outdoors! <br/><br/>He has proven himself to be an excellent running buddy, both on roads and trails, and has also tried cross country skiing, which he absolutely loves. He is excellent on a leash, is brave and curious about trying new things, hops right into the car, and is solidly crate and house trained. He is working on his tricks including sit, down, stay, come, place, and paw, and is very attentive during training sessions. Levi would be an excellent candidate for dog sports! He is up to date on vaccinations, is microchipped, neutered, and on preventatives. He is located in Middlebury, VT. Questions?
