Levi's Story

Levi is a two-year-old, 55-pound bundle of muscle and affection who is somehow still convinced he’s a tiny lap dog. And honestly, once you meet him, you won’t have the heart to tell him otherwise. He’s the kind of dog who will happily wedge himself into your space just to be close, curling up beside you like a true little spoon.

Levi is deeply people-oriented and loves with his whole heart. He’ll follow you from room to room, rest his head on your chest, and make it his mission to stay as close as possible. His affection is constant, genuine, and impossible not to fall for. He enjoys car rides, walks, and meeting new people, especially when they give him the attention he so happily soaks up.

Out in the world, Levi is impressively easygoing. He has shown himself to be non-reactive to squirrels, barking dogs, and the usual outdoor distractions. He has had brief interactions with other dogs and done well, though any resident dog should be introduced slowly and thoughtfully to ensure a good match.

Levi is a smart boy and loves enrichment. Toys and puzzle games are some of his favorite things, and he is very food motivated, which makes training a great opportunity for bonding. He is still learning the ins and outs of home life and is making good progress with potty training, but he will benefit from continued consistency and routine to help him fully settle in.

This is a dog who bonds deeply and completely. Levi isn’t looking for something casual — he’s looking for his person. Someone who wants a loyal, affectionate companion who will be by their side through everything.

If you’re looking for a dog who will love you like it’s his life’s purpose, Levi is ready to meet you.

Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.

APPLY on our WEBSITE:
Rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt
Rebeldogsdetroit.com/becomeafoster
