Leroy Bloodhound & Black and Tan Coonhound Mix New Orleans, LA

Leroy recently turned 1 year old. We helped get his family (mom & 7 puppies) from a local shelter to fosters a year ago and eventually get them adopted. He recently ended up back in the shelter & we felt bad for him. The poor guy supposedly lived with 5 children & was too rough with their old dog. He is shy at first. He is fabulous at daycare. He loved it. He walks away from any dog that is aggressive to him. He's such a sweet dog after a short introduction. He is a bed & couch dog. He has no issue sharing bones & toys with other dogs. He has been taught zero manners & he's strong. He will need obedience training. He is great on an easy walk harness. He loves car rides. He has separation anxiety if hes the only dog when left alone. We have started him on prozac. He needs a lot of exercise. His mother is a bloodhound. We believe he's mixed with a coonhound. He's 77 lbs & tall. He is neutered, microchipped & heartworm negative. He is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm & flea prevention. He had a great exam. He had a fecal & we treated the worms. He had actually been eating raccoon poop & picked up their worms. He had a negative fecal since. He is quiet so he would be great in any environment. He will just need a lot of exercise. He has been around all sizes if dogs without any aggression. His adoption fee is $150.
