Meet Leon! <br/><br/>Leon had one true love - his human. Unfortunately, life happened, and his human had to go into a nursing home where Leon could not follow. He is now learning to adjust to his new life and eager to find his next great love. <br/><br/>Leon is the sweetest little bean you'll ever meet. A lapdog by profession (with a masters degree in snuggling), he is extremely devoted to his human. He wants to be with his foster mom at all times and follows her around like a round legume with legs. He loves lounging around the house, especially in sunny spots. He also likes exploring on walks and is starting to get the hang of the whole leash thing.<br/><br/>Leon is working hard on his housetraining and rocking a belly band like a pro in the meantime, just in case. He can sleep through the night without needing to go, and the best part? He does a series of elaborate twirls before doing his business which often culminate in a seriously impressive handstand. <br/><br/>Leon is the cuddliest little man, but, please, do not put your face directly in his. He finds this rude. He gets along well with cats and calm dogs, though he has shown some mild resource guarding and does best when fed separatly from other pets. Leon is very low energy and chill - he really just wants to be with his person. He does have some separation anixety which he expresses through the tiniest, most polite barks imaginable. Even his distress is considerate.<br/><br/>Leon is looking for a forever home with humans who will be home with him most of the time to snuggle with him. He's a great car-riding companion, so take him with you when you go out if you can!<br/><br/>Leon has a little bit of arthritis that he takes fish oil and a joint supplement for but is otherwise the picture of health. He would like to be carried if he's expected to deal with a lot of stairs, however (and we can't blame him). <br/><br/>Leon's perfect home is calm, quiet, loving - and currently has a lap vacancy waiting to be filled by a deeply devoted cuddle bug.
