Leo's Story

Leo is a beautiful purebred German Shepherd who is friendly with kids and dogs. He just turned six years old and spent most of his life in TX with a family who had seven Shepherds. Leo is on the small side for a Shepherd, weighing in at 66 lbs. His brother was Luke, who was adopted last year. Leo is neutered and up to date on his vetting. He is a beautiful dog who just wants to be your new best friend. Shepherd experience is advised, but we are willing to make an exception for the right adopter. Once we receive your application we will be in touch with the next steps. The adoption process is streamlined so please be ready. The first step is to fill out the Application, at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp. This should only take five minutes of your time. As we are a small shelter, we do not have drop-in hours at this time, but we work quickly to get you in for an appointment shortly after you fill out the application. We have a shelter store with all the supplies you may need, including food, harnesses, leashes, collars, crates, and bowls.
