Leo's Story

Remember Leopold the great? He expanded lots of territory in the 1800’s? I am Leopold the wonderful, and I will expand your horizons with long walks, runs and hikes into the great everywhere. Young, full of fun and energy, I have wonderful leash manners, I am "crate-trained", I don’t love the crate cause of course I prefer freedom, but I know the crate!! I am looking for love, someone who will overlook my puppy-ness, and continue to work with me to help me be the fantastic partner I know I can be. I know where to go Potty, and how to use a doggy door. I like to sleep next to you, on you, near you, touching me... touching you... Sweet Leopold... dun, dun dun.. Oh I regress... I have shared my toys, can chase a ball, and sometimes bring it back, or chew it to little pieces. As a youngster, (1 1/2 years old) I love to chew, and am usually pretty good at chewing the right things, but sometimes, I... am too excited for waiting. I would do better in a house with no little dogs, as I really want to play with the little dogs in the house, but I might be a little larger than I think. Who knew I wasn’t a 7 lb. chihuahua? I would do okay with a friend who has lots of energy and likes to run with me, but like all dogs, we would need time to get to know them, I am not fast and easy, that is the chihuahua... I like food, yours, mine, the neighbors,.. My mum is working on explaining which is mine and which is not, but if I get yours (on accident) you can take it away from me, I will understand. Also, Not a Fan of CATS, you know those fuzzy things with bad attitudes, I don’t know why but they hate when I chase them, and boy do I love to chase them. You like what you see? You fill out the Dog Adoption Application, on OFOSA.ORG. I’ll wait for you. Mum knows best. Don’t hesitate. You can’t resist this spotted nose and all my speckles. Apply. Now. I am ok if you are big, small, tall, short. No discrimination. Just ask to meet me, then you will want to adopt me, and we will ride away into the sunset to start our next adventure. I would be happiest with a house and a yard, and a car, beach trips, mountains trips.. yep, definitely all those, but mostly a house, cause I am a little large for an apartment, again, Apply NOW... my mum will call you....Adoption fee is $340 for a fully vetted, chip and neutered bundle of love.
