Leo was originally brought to us by his owner in May 2025 when he would no longer care for him. Less than 2 weeks later, he was adopted, but was brought back to us November 1, 2025. <br/>Leo is a VERY good dog and loves people! He was very loved in his original home, and losing that owner has proved to be difficult for him. He is so loyal and loving, he just wants to be with his people all the time! He enjoys being outside, going on car rides. And giving hugs! Wherever you are, Leo would also like to be! Leo is smart and knows some basic commands! He is also potty trained! He is unsure of strange dogs, so he would require a meet-and-greet with any other dogs in the home before joining the family. He LOVES kids and would love to join a family with human siblings for him! <br/><br/>Leo is a German Shepherd mix who is about 3.5 years old now. He is a handsome black and tan guy with the sweetest puppy dog eyes! <br/><br/>Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, wormed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough). Dogs from GHAS will also come with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet dog/puppy food to get you started!
