I was an owner surrender before joining SDR, and I’ve been having so much fun discovering the world with my foster family. I’m a little ball of fluffy cuteness with the perfect mix of puppy energy and soft snuggles.<br/><br/>I love being outside, chasing leaves, playing with my toys (especially if they squeak!), and playing chase with my foster brother. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I do well with other dogs and all the people I’ve met.<br/><br/>I love having a fenced yard to explore, and I’m also doing well going potty outside on a leash. I’m still learning my potty cues, but when I’m kept on a routine, I know where my potty spots are! I’m working on crate training but sleep in my crate for naps and bedtime like a champ.<br/><br/>My foster family is starting to teach me basic commands - I love learning and I already know “sit!” I’m an adaptable little guy who would do well in a home with siblings (human or furry) or as an only child. The most important thing is a family who will keep me on a good routine with training, snuggles, and playtime.<br/><br/>- Lenny's adoption fee is $400 + MN sales tax.<br/><br/>- You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please complete the adoption application located on our website: https://smalldogsminnesota.org/adoption-application/<br/><br/>- Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philosophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, it must be charged.<br/><br/>- Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes. Since we strive to provide the best possible care for our animals, sometimes we cannot answer emails promptly.
