I’m a 6 month old Lab mix with a big heart and even bigger dreams of hikes, road trips, and belly rubs. I’m full of playful energy and curiosity, always ready to run and romp, play tug or - even better - explore something new!<br/><br/>When I’m not making you laugh with my goofy puppy antics, I love a good nap in my crate or on a squishy dog bed ? I’m also happy to entertain myself with a chew toy during some quiet playtime. <br/><br/>Treats are my love language, and I’ve already nailed ‘sit’ and ‘touch’ like a pro - with more tricks coming soon (especially if more snacks are involved!) ?? I get along great with other dogs, enjoy meeting new people, and can keep myself entertained when you need a break. <br/><br/>Really - if you’re looking for a pup who’s equal parts playful and chill, look no further. I’m right here, waiting to meet you! ?<br/><br/>The basics? Female. Lab mix. About 6 months old. Currently weighs in at about 40lbs. Dog- and people-friendly, good with kids, not tested with cats. Happy to go out to a brewery and chill, go on a hike, or chill at home with the foster siblings. Does have some non-aggressive food guarding tendency (hovers over the bowl to block you/dogs out, no aggression found during some basic testing) and has little piddles when I make her sit and wait for food like I do for the other dogs so we’re working on that but again no aggression and I’m just feeding her outside so there’s no mess either. She was extremely malnourished when found as a stray but still has the sweetest temperament so I think it’s truly just a “don’t take it away from me” sign. Regardless, I’ll keep reinforcing to her that she is secure and the food is hers until she finds her forever home, a simple fix is to just feed her separately if in a multiple-dog household like her current one. She should do well in most home types!
