This little baby was picked up as a stray and brought to a crowded shelter. Luckily, she is receiving love and routine training so that she feels safe in her foster home. Lennon was rescued from Henry County Animal Control on 8/19/25, just days before she was listed on the euthanasia list. So many volunteers worked hard to save her at You Lucky Dog Rescue and Henry County Animal Shelter.<br/><br/>Lennon lives in a foster home that includes her foster mom and dad, college-aged human brother and sister, 4 dogs (males and female), and 1 cat. She does not have free-roam of the house . She eats puppy kibble and does not resource-guard or have trouble with people reaching into her crate. She’s a great puppy!<br/><br/>Lennon’s foster family has only had her for a week, but they can report that she is a typical happy, playful, sweet puppy. She likes to chew her hard bones, chase a ball, or carry her stuffed gator around. She walks happily on a leash with her foster parents around the neighborhood, picking up acorns to toss along the way. She is quiet and neat in her crate, and only barks if resident dogs pass by or she wants to go out to potty. She hasn’t had any accidents in the house or crate! Lennon will thrive in a home with a predictable walk, meal, potty, and playtime routine, so she can learn what is expected of her. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details that are not included in this biography.<br/><br/>PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time. <br/><br/>Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.<br/><br/>The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. <br/><br/>We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
