Meet Lena!<br/><br/>Lena is a beautiful 9 year old black Labrador Retriever with a joyful spirit and so much love to give! She has plenty of energy and would thrive in a home where she can stretch her legs, especially one with a fenced-in yard where she can run and play or gets walks daily. Don't let her age fool you, Lena acts like a 5 or 6 year old Lab and loves with her huge heart.<br/><br/>She is currently living in Valley City.<br/><br/>She is looking for a new family after her beloved owner passed away. Her previous owner was recently retired, so Lena is used to having someone around most of the time. Because of this, she may need a little extra attention and reassurance at first while she adjusts to her new home.<br/><br/>Lena has lived happily with small children and cats. She may accidentally knock a little one over in her excitement or sneak in a surprise face-lick, but it’s all part of her sweet, affectionate personality. She truly loves people and wants to be wherever her family is.<br/><br/>She is missing one of her back toes, but it doesn’t slow her down at all. Lena can walk, run, and play just like any other dog!<br/><br/>Her favorite things include cozy couch cuddles, gentle head rubs, and being part of family life.
