Lena's Story

Meet Lena! Lena is an approximately 10 week old Labradoodle (?) mix. She looks just like a black lab and we have sent out a DNA test (on 1/23) but they take around 3 weeks for results! Lena is spayed, microchipped, has had 2 rounds of puppy shots and been dewormed.

Knox Vintage Pet Project's Adoption Policy

We have a written application all potential adopters must fill out. Once the application is complete, we call all vet references to make sure their current pets are well taken care of (up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention, sterilized). If the adopter rents, we will call the landlord to make sure they are allowed to have pets and have no restrictions. We require a meet and greet with all of their current pets before adoption.

We are a non profit organization with the goal of providing better quality of life for homeless senior and special needs pets near Knoxville. We are a small organization who relies solely on adoption fees and donations from the public.
