Leia's Story
Meet Leia!

Named in honor of May 4th (Star Wars Day). She was found dehydrated and emaciated, but is now in a loving foster home until we can find her forever family. Leia is about 20 pounds and it looks like she'll be staying around that size. Leia thrives in a quiet, patient, and well structured home. She needs someone to support her and show her that new things are not scary. We would recommend no children in the home, due to the fact that she finds loud noises to be scary and she'll retreat out of fear. Leia is dog friendly! She would most likely do best with another calm and confident dog. She is the last of her litter to find a home.

We also found out their DNA! The Star Wars pups are:
45% American Staffordshire Terrier
20% American Pitbull Terrier
19% Beagle
13% Boston Terrier
2% Bulldog

You can apply for her on our website, everydogmattersrescue.org. We’re located in Youngstown, OH.
