Legend's Story

Adorable and Adoptable: meet Legend. This guy has had a bit of a tough 2024, so it's amazing he's so sweet. Just listen to this report from his foster mama: Are you looking for a lapdog? Legend is here for you! He has a permanent wink from a recent left eye enucleation due to glaucoma, but it hasn’t affected his energy level. He navigates well with the help of his acute hearing and his ability to track motion. He would be a great only dog for someone who works from home or is home a lot.
He does well with my rambunctious pack of 3 Cockers after a growly period of adjustment. My boys are very active and now he plays a little with my puppy after learning he is no threat. It will probably take a minute for introductions to other dogs but he will come around.
He loves a Yak bone and toys, but he doesn’t shred them. I have never crated him because he is so well behaved.
People however- he loves them ALL - immediately and profusely. He has not been around cats to my knowledge.
He is a great riding boy and loves to go with. He is a sweetheart at vet visits.
He is 6 years old and weighs about 20 pounds with the face of a Cavalier Spaniel. He tracks me on leash and loves being outdoors, especially a grass yard to prance around, roll on or just lie comfortably, sniffing the air.
He is house trained at my house and is fast at learning the ropes, eager to please, sits for treats and dinner - after a deadhead twirl ? He is, after all a Grateful Dog rescue ??
He is fine left at home when I’m out and thrilled when I come home.
He loves company so invite your friends to meet this sweet lover boy.
Interested in adoption?
