Lebowski's Story

Meet Lebowski! Lebowski is a 4-year-old Pit/Lab mix who came to ACS with another dog who has since found his forever home. He's been waiting longer than we'd like, and we think this goofy guy deserves his turn. Lebowski is a little weirdo-in the best way. He has the kind of personality that keeps you guessing and will have you watching him wondering what exactly is going on in that head of his. He's goofy, quirky, and just does things that make you laugh. He enjoys other dogs, although he's particular about who he considers a friend. He's also a great car rider and is always up for getting out and doing something. Lebowski may not be everyone's dog, but we think the right person is going to absolutely adore his weird little personality. Adopter's Need to Knows: Dogs: Enjoys other dogs but is selective about his playmates Cats: Has not lived with cats Kids: Has an age restriction due to needing respectful pet boundaries

Animal Care Society Inc's Adoption Policy

Visit our web site at http://www.animalcaresociety.org/ Why Adopt from ACS? One of the best things about life is that it’s full of second chances! When people adopt a new family member from a shelter they are giving a pet a second chance in life! Many folks go to a breeder for a specific type of pet but those same animals can be found at the Animal Care Society! And if there isn’t such an animal at our shelter, ACS staffers are happy to refer interested parties to the RIGHT breed rescue group! The pets available at the Animal Care Society are special. Careful selection, constant socialization, diligent loving daily care and even hand raised kittens and puppies make our candidates for adoption a premium in the shelter world. While we are still a shelter, we make every effort to make a cat or dog feel at home here! It goes a long way in deferring some of the kennel fatigue experienced by shelter animals.
