Leah – Pit/husky mix – 1yr. – female (49 lbs.)<br/> <br/>We picked up this sweet girl from a woman who was overwhelmed when her siblings dropped two dogs off at her home because they both lived in apartments that didn’t allow pit mixes. NONE of the dogs were altered and of course Leah got pregnant even though she was just a puppy herself. SHR took Leah in and made sure the other two dogs at the house were altered so this scenario couldn’t repeat itself. Leah went straight to our “mama-foster” where she felt safe and cared for so she could have her puppies in peace. That’s right, TEN puppies! Now Leah’s finished being a mom and is ready to play “happy-puppy” again. Leah is so happy that her whole-body wiggles out of excitement when she sees you! She is great with other dogs and plays very enthusiastically… not just with other dogs, but with people also. She loves to go for walks and does well on a leash making each outing a new adventure. Leah will make a great hiking and walking/jogging partner – she wants to be part of the action. She is housebroken and enjoys car rides. We also know she lived with children and was wonderful with them.
