LEAH's Story

Meet Leah – The Opinionated Queen

Leah came to us this weekend from a crowded shelter where she had been picked up as a stray. No one came looking for her, and the shelter was a loud, confusing place for a dog who clearly has a lot to say about the world.

Leah made it known she wasn’t thrilled with the situation. She’s vocal, expressive, and not shy about sharing her opinions. When she first arrived, she was scared and overwhelmed and tried to defend herself the only way she knew how.

But here’s the thing about Leah: underneath all that sass is a smart, spirited girl who just needed out of the chaos.

Since arriving at the rescue, Leah has already started to settle in and show us who she really is — a dog with a big personality, a sharp mind, and a whole lot of potential once she feels safe.

Leah is the kind of dog who will thrive with someone who understands that strong personalities come with big hearts. She’ll need a patient adopter who can give her time to decompress, build trust, and show her that life doesn’t have to be scary anymore.

What Leah offers in return is something special: loyalty, intelligence, and a whole lot of character. She’s not a background dog — she’s the kind who becomes your shadow, your sidekick, and your daily entertainment.

If you’re the kind of person who appreciates a little sass and wants a dog with personality to spare, Leah might just be your perfect match.

Because sometimes the dogs who speak the loudest are the ones who have been unheard the longest.

Leah is now safe with No Greater Love Rescue and looking for the person who will finally give her the second chance she deserves.

Adoption Fee: $250

Currently located in Fosters, AL and can be transported North to an adopter for an additional $200.
