LEAH's Story

LEAH is an energetic pup with a big zest for life! Like many 5 month old puppies, she will need work on her housetraining and leash skills, but she’s eager to learn and please you.

A stray upon arrival to our shelter, LEAH will love a home and family where she can spend time playing in the yard with other dogs and kids, where her happy, playful personality will really shine. She’s not a fan of long walks just yet, preferring shorter adventures and plenty of playtime instead. After a full day of fun, this large and lovely pup will be more than ready to snuggle up close to you and enjoy a cozy nap by your side.

LEAH is ready to start her next chapter with her "furever" family. Call our shelter to arrange to meet her!

Please contact the BROOKE COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER @ 304-394-0800 for more information about LEAH. We Thank You for your interest in the animals in our shelter, and hope you will visit with us very soon!

* Though the information on our animals available for adoption is updated frequently, please understand that there is a chance that when you arrive at our shelter the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted or another party might be going through the adoption process at that time.

Our shelter is happy to work with responsible rescues!

We are conveniently located just 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
