Leah's Story
It’s hard to believe, but this cutie-patootie came to us as a stray. She's a medium to large dog, about 65 pounds, and despite being a “middle-aged” girl, this pup’s got some spunk. She’s super curious and playful; a combination that can make her rowdy, so be prepared for some powerful playtime. Leah is looking for a furever family that will let her explore, play tug, and find ways for her to safely burn off her energy. She’d also like a snuggly safe place to crash when her energy bubble bursts.

Leah would do well in a cat free home. Because of her exuberance, use your best judgement if there are small/young children or elders who might be a fall risk in the home. Everyone who lives in the home would need to meet Leah before she could go home, including any dogs (dog intro would be scheduled after she meets all humans).

Intake: 01/10/2026

This dog is available for adoption at the Butler County Humane Society
1015 Evans City Rd
Renfrew, PA 16053
Kennel License #1526

APPLY HERE: https://butlercountyhs.org/dog-adoption-application/
