LEA's Story

LEA is such as sweet dog!! She was a stray seen in an area for a few days as if she was waiting for her people to come back. This good sam finally brought her home and is taking care of her until adopted. She reached out to our rescue and we offered to help! Lea is a husky/shepherd mix we believe and is about 10 mths to a year old. She is very friendly, gets along with other dogs, loves kids and is a bit too interested in cats. If you are dog savvy this is a behavior that can be worked through as she does not go after them but is interested. She is a bit food aggressive but we see that all the time with dogs who are dumped and we know for a fact this can be worked through with consistent boundaries and discipline. She is very loving, active and would make a great walking/hiking/running buddy. She is pretty good on leash, does not pull at all, actually it is more about just building her confidence on leash. We never know what a dog has been through and we know for a fact if you give them time and love and attention she will be an amazing addition to any family.
