LAZY BONES's Story

We named this boy Lazy Bones as kind of a joke--he's actually a very energetic boy who wants nothing more than to be loved! LB was sadly found scared and hiding under a trailer when he was rescued by our animal control officers, but since coming to the shelter we've found him to be a truly gentle soul. He can be a bit shy at first but warms up quickly when given affection and attention. He's also smart and very trainable--he already knows “sit” and “paw”, likes walking on a leash, and loves treats of all kinds. Lazy Bones also enjoys squeaky toys and likes other dogs, so a mellow, respectful canine playmate would probably be just fine. This sweet boy really needs to get out of the stressful shelter environment, so we hope his person comes to adopt him soon!
