Layla, WITH VIDEO's Story

Lyla is a beautiful 1 year old female Malinois (DOB 112/23/20). She is available for adoption to a working home, (EXCLUDING bitework.) OR active to an active home Layla has very high food and play drive, and is currently a petite 40 lbs. (approx..)

She has lived in foster with me and my two dogs for the past two months. I have been working her daily, including: leash walking, obedience, controlled "games", and mostly scentwork (primary only.) which she excels at.

Layla came to me as a 10 month old who had spent ALL of her time in a kennel, and was environmentally challenged when I got her.

She has made MIRACULOUS progress, as her food and play drive outweigh her concerns. She LOVES scentwork/nosework, and I believe that would be the best sport for her.

Layla has been worked and evaluated by three different working trainers, who all believe that she is an awesome dog, but will need continued exposure to novel environments.

She gets along well with my two dogs, one of whom, can be snarly. She's shown NO reactivity to other dogs, just wants to play, but can be intimidated by a reactive/asservie dog..

Layla is a wonderful dog, and I would keep her if I didn't already have two older dogs.

ONLY HOMES MEETING THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED:

HOME OWNER

COMPLETELY FENCED IN YARD

NO CHILDREN UNDER 12

EXPERIENCE WITH THIS BREED OR OTHER WORKING BREEDS

VET REFERENCES AND HOME CHECK

HER ADOPTION FEE WILL BE HIGHER THAN TYPICAL
