Meet Layla! Sweet Layla found herself at a rural area animal control when her “family” decided she was too big. Sad and confused, poor Layla didn't understand what she had done wrong but her foster family was quick to assure her that she had done NOTHING wrong! Even at probably around 70 lbs, we think she is just PERFECT! Layla is just over a year old and really and truly is just an all around GREAT GIRL! She's great with other dogs and has been loving all of the playtime she gets with her foster siblings. And as if that's not enough, she's also crate trained and appears house trained as well! Rescue Me Ga Inc's Adoption Policy

We have an application process that we require for any adoption. The application can be found on our website at www.rmgdogs.org - its the first step in our process and required before we set up a time for you to meet the dog you are interested in …. ALL of our dogs are completely vetted - all vaccines - spay or neuter - dewormings - chip - heart worm tested and treated if needed and ready to be loved. WE are foster based which means our dogs are in homes or temporary boarding when we rescue them -- we know their personalities and what would be their best fit! Our dogs come from a rural Georgia shelter and often we take in surrenders from families facing difficult situations….. WE do post many dogs still in need at animal control as well as all who have been saved already that are in foster homes. We do NOT operate a facility where you can visit the dogs unless you contact us to possibly meet one already in a foster

RESCUE ME GEORGIA is a 501c3 non profit rescue group dedicated to saving dogs from a small rural shelter and county outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Since our start November of 2011, we have saved more than 5000 animals in need and have been able to be a part of so many lives changed!
