Little Miss Layla is looking for a new human who will double as her exercise partner. Like so many of us, this chubby cutie needs to lose a few pounds. Layla is about seven years old and she weighs 16 pounds. Ideally she would be more like 12 pounds and all she needs to accomplish her goal is a committed walking partner. She is excellent on leash and always eager for adventure so shedding her extra pounds should be fairly easy once she has a human to help. <br/><br/>Layla would do best in a calm, low-key environment. She’s very gentle and absolutely loves being with her humans. She’ll politely ask to be picked up so she can sit on the couch with the pack — she just loves being close and included. She gets along well with other small dogs, especially ones with her similar laidback energy. Layla enjoys car rides and she travels great. She is not used to being crated but as long as she’s taken out regularly for potty breaks she does not have accidents in the house. Layla is so precious. <br/><br/>Layla is fully vetted -- spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $300.
