Layla's Story

Layla appears to be around 7-8 years old. She is a beautiful sweetheart looking for a laid-back, chill, single-animal or no-animal home to call her forever home. She enjoys walks in the mornings and evenings. Plays mildly with stuffed animals and ropes. Loves her pig ears and bones for treats and eats once to twice a day.

She knows many of her commands; recall is her best!! She enjoys lounging around on the couch all day and lying out on the patio to sunbathe. She doesn't like to share attention with others but does well with consistent training. She appears to have been off-leash trained and responds well to leash corrections while walking; consistency is her friend! She loves the attention and gets excited anytime her person comes home or is around.

She has been vetted and is overall a healthy dog. She is heartworm positive and has begun treatment that will last 30 days (just a pill) and will be cleared as long as she takes all of her pills and stays consistent on a Heartgard or Proheart (shot that lasts 6 months). She is not spayed at this time.

If you are interested in adopting Layla please contact armiller830@gmail.com for any additional information. Layla is located in Wake County.Blue Moon Shepherd Rescue only adopts to applicants in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
