Layla is an approximately 3-4 year old mixed breed and weighs about 60 lbs. She's up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and ready to go home! <br/>Layla is super friendly with the best wiggle butt! She's incredibly funny & loves to romp around and play with her toys (especially balls!) She gets along well with other dogs but she won't do well in a home with cats. She likes to chase cats. While she's good with kids, we would place her in a home with older children, teenage age, as she could knock down younger kids with her energy! <br/>Layla is medium/high energy. No major couch potato here. She would be great for an active family who wants a companion for walks, hikes and runs. She is very affectionate and curious about her surroundings! We place companion animals in loving, responsible, committed homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a pet into their homes and lives. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment. Our adoption fees vary because of the breed size, and normal vet cost. This is intended to cover the costs of having the animal fully vetted and the costs of caring for the animal prior to placement in a home. Many of the animals we help have veterinary costs which are much higher than the adoption fee. For these animals, we rely on donations and small fundraisers to offset those costs.
