She is a 10 year old, 12lb. female Maltipoo.

She is a funny little girl... she's not a lap dog, but likes to lie beside you and repeatedly paw you to pet her. She gets along well with the dogs in her foster home, but is not happy if a new dog comes in the house. She reacts the same way when strangers come into the home, kind of cranky and growly, but will get used to them.

She would do well with another dog her size already in the house to play with though. She ignores the cats in her foster home, so cats that would appreciate this would be okay.

She's not into toys or stuffies much. Layla would be okay with older kids in the home, say 15+. A fenced yard would be best for her, although she does walk well on a leash. Unfortunately she is quite vocal, barking at noises or when she sees people walking by, so an apartment would not be suitable.

She is not left alone for very long in her foster home as her foster mom works from home. So she is used to having someone around regularly, but she is okay left alone for for certain amount of time.

Layla is housetrained, as long as she gets taken outside on a regular basis and has a chance to develop a routine. She does go to the door, but doesn't make any noise, so you need to watch for her signals.

She is crate trained but prefers to sleep in bed with her foster. She is a sweetheart.

Layla is up to date on her shots, heartworm negative, and has had a recent dental, so she's good to go!

To adopt this dog go to: http://forms.gle/Ev16pQeQ2zAZWLig6

Rat Terrier Rescue Canada Adoption Fees
Puppies under 1 year - $775
Young adult 1 year - 5 years $650
Adults 6 years - 9 years $575
Seniors 10+ $325

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter .
*EXCLUDING UNALTERED PUPPIES UNDER A YEAR.

The adoption fee also includes, at a minimum, vaccinations, de-worming, I.D. tag and microchip insertion.
