Meet Layla
Meet Layla! She is around 14 years old and weighs 5 lbs.
Layla came to us around Thanksgiving after her person entered a nursing home.
Unfortunately, she had had horrible skin infections, an enlarged heart, thyroid issues, and an abdominal hernia. Getting her skin issues under control has been the hardest part and she finally became healthy enough to have her hernia surgery. She recently had her surgery and seems to be feeling so much better! She does take medication for her heart, hernia, and allergies (as most of us in Oklahoma do).
This little girl is such a sweetheart and is the best cuddler. She enjoys snuggling up under the blankets with you. She is potty pad trained and has learned to use a doggy door. She is good with other dogs and seems determined to make one of her foster siblings her best friend. We're unsure how she may be with cats. She loves her food and does great taking her medicine - she just takes it like it's a treat. Layla is an overall happy, good girl who still has so much to give a senior-loving person or family.
If you think your family and home are a good fit for what this deserving lady needs, you can apply to meet / adopt her at www.muttmisfits.com/adoption-application
She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
