Lavender 's Story
Our girl Lavender came into our care with her 6 month old pups. She has finally had a chance to be on her own to flourish. She is really sweet and gentle. Little on the timid side as wasn’t exposed to much beyond the farm she came from. She LOVES pets and snuggles! She has the biggest smile to show her love for you.
She did come into our care not ever having her back dewclaws trimmed so they were a fully 720 degrees through her pad. We did have them removed when she was spayed so she is healing up from that yet. She loves it both outdoors and indoors. She hasn’t messed inside at all when she comes in at night. She does surprisingly well on a leash as well don’t think she had any leash work done prior.
We would love to see her to a farm home again if possible as she truly thrives in the country. She will need that transition time to know that’s her new home but after a few days she adjusts very well to a routine. She has been good with the other large dogs she has met. She has not met any small dogs. Please apply if you feel she might be a match for your family.

Prairie Pooches Rescue is a volunteer and foster based rescue. All our dogs are in foster homes and approved adopters are required to meet the dogs at the foster homes.

Adoption fee is $300. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinations UTD, dewormed and microchipped. Adoption applications and home visits are done for all adoptions. Please fill out an application if interested on our website www.prairiepoochesrescue.com

****Due to an overwhelming amount of emails and phone calls we receive we will only respond to ones that have an application attached. Thank you****
