A portion of my adoption fee has been sponsored by my friends at Tito's Handmade Vodka.<br/><br/>The adoption fee sponsorship credit of $375.00 will be applied during the contract process.<br/><br/>I am Lava from Texas. <br/><br/>From his foster: Lava is a lovable, snuggle bug that has recently learned how much fun squeaky toys are and how to be a house hippo (if she gets her morning walk/run, she will sleep on all the soft beds for the rest of the day). She had a rough start in life, but with love, patience, and copious amounts of tasty treats she has come a long way. She is a good leash walker and has learned how to ignore other dogs - as long as there is peanut butter involved.<br/><br/>Lava is on an anti-anxiety medication that she will need to continue. She would do best in home where someone is around most of the day. She still startles at loud sounds but settles quickly. Lava will never be the life of the party at public places and will need to be the only resident animal. But she lights up the room when she is around her human friends - new and old. Lava is very smart, eager to please, and will never fail to greet you when you come in the door. Whether it's been an hour or five minutes.<br/><br/>It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life watching Lava bloom into a confident, chatty (she loves to let you know what she is thinking), and silly dog. Her forever family is out there, waiting to welcome her home. Maybe that's you?
