Meet Lassy! Lassy’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable. This 4 year old neutered male mixed breed was rescued from the streets of China by the Soi Dog Foundation after being found hit by a car with a pelvic fracture. Thanks to their dedicated care, he was fully rehabilitated and is now medically cleared and ready for a fresh start. Lassy has a sweet, warm disposition, is dog- and cat-friendly, does wonderfully in his kennel without accidents, and walks nicely on a leash. This brave boy has overcome so much — now all he needs is a family to call his own. Who would like to give Lassy his first real, loving home?

Our Mission

Almost Home is a 501C3 not for profit animal rescue. We rescue homeless, abandoned or unwanted animals from local shelters, out of state shelters, owner surrenders, from the dog meat trade in Thailand and Puerto Rico.
