Like many of the others, Lars arrived nervous, timid, and unsure of the world around him. But every day, he's showing us just how much progress he's capable of making.<br/><br/>While Lars is still hesitant about new experiences, he's already improving by leaps and bounds. He's slowly learning to walk on a leash and the things that once seemed overwhelming are starting to feel a little less scary.<br/><br/>Outside in the play yard is where Lars truly shines. He loves exploring, investigating new sights and smells, splashing in the kiddie pool, and enjoying time outdoors. As his confidence grows, so does his curiosity. He's even started seeking out affection from volunteers, a huge milestone for a dog who began his journey so unsure of people.<br/><br/>Lars is looking for a patient, loving family that understands that trust takes time. He'll need adopters who will continue building his confidence, celebrate the small victories, and help him discover all the joys of being a beloved family dog.
