Larry fka Jude (D24-382)'s Story

Larry is a 2-year-old, 50-pound Chow Chow with a majestic coat that gives him the striking resemblance of a lion. Along with his impressive looks, he carries the classic Chow Chow personality-stoic, dignified, and quietly confident.

Larry walks well on a leash and is mostly potty-trained, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a dog with good manners. While he may have a calm and reserved demeanor, Larry is a sweet boy who enjoys being around his people and appreciates a peaceful home where he can relax and bond with his family. He absolutely LOVES his walks.

Larry would do best in a home without small animals, including cats and dogs. He would also prefer a home without young children, where his space and personality will be respected. A meet and greet at the shelter is required to ensure it is a good fit.

If you're looking for a loyal companion with a noble presence and a gentle heart, Larry may be the perfect addition to your home.

------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
