LARRY's Story

The vets estimate Larry to be 9+ years old... but apparently no one has bothered to tell Larry that.

Sure, there are a few signs that give away his age. His teeth have seen better days, his vision isn’t quite what it used to be, and he has some medical maintenance to catch up on. But Larry is proving every day that age is not a diagnosis.

This approximately 30-lb little guy is happy, energetic, affectionate, and a certified wiggle butt! He has plenty of pep in his step, loves attention, and seems determined to make up for lost time.

Larry was found as a stray in Asheboro, NC. His finder cared for him until Road to Home Rescue could step in, and thanks to an amazing foster, Larry is now discovering just how good life can be. He’s enjoying the comforts of home, getting the medical care he needs, learning some manners, and soaking up ALL the love.

We do not believe that Larry has ever lived indoors and he is adjusting. He has had some accidents, but with his upcoming neuter, we anticipate this to not be an issue in the future.

We’ve started calling him our Benjamin Button because the healthier and happier Larry gets, the younger he seems to become!

Larry is fully vaccinated and will be neutered soon. What he needs next is someone willing to look beyond the number attached to his age and see the wonderful dog standing in front of them.

If you’re looking for a handsome little gentleman with a distinguished frosted face, a wiggly behind, and the spirit of a much younger dog, Larry may just be your guy.

He didn’t get to choose how the first nine-ish years of his story went.

But he’s more than ready to make the next chapter his best one yet.

Apply to adopt Larry :
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdmGT1IJumWVdiv9sWf06pVnyjnkqqgp5VjuCJXAg4TicTd7A/viewform
