Larry's Story

Hi, I’m Larry! Your future shadow and professional good boy!

I’m Larry, a 6-month-old Lab mix (my foster mama suspects I might have some hound in me, but who really knows?!) North Paw Rescue recently saved my brother and me from an Ohio puppy mill, and I’m learning all about this exciting new world!

I LOVE playing with my four-legged foster sister, and I’ve also discovered that my two-legged foster brother is pretty awesome, too! I’m always interested in whatever everyone is doing around the house, so if you’re looking for a little shadow to follow you everywhere, I’m your guy! You’ll never have to do anything alone again!

I currently live with a kitty, and I think she’s just as scared of me as I am of her! We’re still figuring each other out, so I might do well in a home with a confident, dog-savvy cat who can show me that kitties aren’t so scary.

I’m doing a great job with potty training, as long as someone reminds me to head outside every once in a while. I’m also getting braver in my crate every time I go in, and guess what? I sleep through the night with NO accidents!

My foster mama works from home, so I spend most of the day relaxing in my playpen with my foster sister, with a little playtime mixed in, of course. Give me a good bone to chew, some fun toys, and a comfy bed, and I’m one happy pup!

I’m still learning all about life outside the puppy mill, but I’m making great progress and discovering how wonderful being a loved puppy can be. I’ll need a family who will be patient with me as I continue to learn and grow, but I promise I have so much love to give!

Could I be the missing piece of your family?

Larry's adoption fee is $700! This adoption fee includes: his alter, a microchip, his rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think he may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius.
