Douglas Animal Welfare Group has officially approved and covered the cost of his surgery, and he is scheduled for Monday, December 1st.<br/><br/> Here’s the urgent part:<br/>The shelter is not an ideal place for him to recover from such a major surgery. Lark needs a quiet, loving home where he can heal safely and comfortably.<br/>Despite everything he’s been through, Lark is the biggest lovebug — playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s with his people. If you rent, you will be required to provide written approval from your landlord that you can have a dog. It needs to be specific, i.e. all dogs okay, no big dogs, specific breeds restricted, etc.
