Lark's Story

COURTESY POST
Lark is a sweet and playful pure German Shepherd. She is about one years old and 50lbs. She is energetic, loving, loyal, eager to learn and to be with her people.

We rescued Lark from the streets of Hollywood at the beginning of January and integrated her into our home of 5 other dogs. She bonded almost immediately with our 5 year old female shepherd/cattle dog mix. In fact, Lark's loving energy really drew our shep/cattle mix fully out of her shell for the first time. She also rough houses with our 3 year old medium size male terrier mix.

She regularly trail walks with a pack of big dogs and has never had an issue. She is good on a leash when walking in the neighborhood. She attends daycare once a week and happily plays with the other dogs.
Lark is crate trained and goes to her bed without complaint when told. She has no food aggression and loves a ball and a toy, but isn't destructive to objects in our house. She loves her human family a great deal.
When she first arrived, she was inclined to jump up with affection, but has learned to control herself better. She is protective of her people and house and yard.

What Lark really wants is an active big-dog only home, with someone who loves the lively intelligence of the German shepherd breed.

To inquire, and/or set up a meeting with Lark, start by filling out application and we will send to her current owners to contact you for a meeting
(copy and paste link): https://bluemandog.org/adoption-application/
