Larae's Story
Larae came to us originally in 2021 with her litter of 7 newborn puppies. She was a protective and loving momma, and loved all of her babies until they were adopted. Larae was adopted not long after, and stayed with her family for 3 years. Her family had some major life changes, and ultimately had to surrender her back to the shelter.

Larae is now back with us, 3 years older, and confused. She is a very protective girl, and will be an amazing and loyal guard dog for a new family. Because of her tentativeness to new people, she would do best in a low traffic and quieter home. Not to be confused with a mellow home, because boy does this girl have energy! She also tends to be a bit mouthy with her affection, not in an aggressive way by any means, but in a way that might be scary to small children. For this reason, we are looking for a home with no small children. Larae loves to run and play, and walks great on a leash once she settles down. She will without a doubt be your next ride-or-die, and whoever steals her heart next is so so lucky. She hopes to find her final and forever home soon!
