Landy's Story

Landy is a 3-5 year old, male German Shepherd. This boy is tall and handsome. He was found as a local stray so he was a bit skinny - we are working on putting some weight and muscle on this boy (current weight is 71 pounds). Landy is a very bright boy! He knows basic obedience and some interesting tricks (like opening up a crate and doors). He has perfect house manners (we don't even crate him). He gets along fine with other dogs, male or female. We don't have the capability of cat testing - so we would be looking for a cat free home. He would do best with a large yard and fence and another playful dog - he loves to run and play. He DOES not like bubbles... took a bite of a big bubble and the look on his face was priceless! He loves to be told "you are a good boy". This boy is tall, handsome and super smart!

Approximately 7 million pets will die this year in shelters across the US. Some die humanely with lethal injection, some will be thrown into a gas chamber and die a slow, frightening death, some will be shot, or beaten. They will die with a feeling of abandonment, lonesomeness, and fear. Yet, these dogs are real, they are l...
