Laklyn D67239's Story

Hi, my name is Laklyn and I am from Georgia!

From her foster: This pretty little lady will warm your heart. She is a huge snuggler and loves lots of attention. She also is very goofy and a bit clumsy, but that just adds to her sweet and calm disposition. She will be hard to say goodbye to.

From the Vet:
Laklyn was evaluated at The BB Vet Center shortly after arrival for a few medical concern we are currently monitoring/treating. She had conjuctivitis (eye infection) that is being treated with a topical antibiotic. The main concern for her was we noted she has a tendency to stand on 3 legs instead of all 4. We took radiographs of the rear leg she holds up in the air and the veterinarian noted deformities/inflammation consistent with Panosteitis or "growing pains" commonly associated with the long bones in large breed dogs. She may hold up her leg from time to time, however she is regularly using the leg normally and is still a high energy happy girl! She is currently being monitored for kennel cough symptoms so meeting other dogs right now may have to wait until she is no longer showing symptoms. Generally these viral infections are self limiting and will clear on their own! We hope she finds her perfect forever home soon, she really deserves it.
