Lakelynn's Story

Lakelynn was brought to our rescue after someone witnessed her crate falling out of the back of a pickup. We have exhausted every opportunity of locating her previous owners with no luck. She is a very sweet girl that is roughly 1-2 years old. It seems as if she was an outdoor dog but loves to come inside to snuggle on the couch for a movie or just chill time but does like to be outdoors the most. Another thing we have noticed about her Is how timid she is of slick floors. She is slowly getting used to the hardwood floors in her foster home but it is still taking time to adjust to everything new. She enjoys running and playing outside with her 2 and 4 legged siblings in her foster home. Although she loves to play chase with her brothers she does not like to bring the ball/toy back to them after they throw it. She finds it more entertaining to run after it but watch them run with her and throw it again. She is still a bit timid of getting in vehicles but once you have her in the backseat she loves to ride and go pick the kids up from school or just run errands. She had 2 dogs and 2 cats in her foster home and has had no issues with them although the cats don’t like her being in their personal space. Lakelynn would make a great addition to any family but they have to realize she is still young and learning the do’s and dont’s of what you will allow. She is known to jump fences so lots of land or a very high privacy fence would be her ideal home. For more information on Miss Lakelynn or for an application please email us at hopeshavenpetrescue@gmail.com
