Lainey's Story

Hi, I’m Lainey, a black lab mix with a dashing white spot right on my chest. Think of it as my own personal spotlight. I'm 16 weeks old and a respectable 11 pounds,

The backyard! Oh, the backyard! It’s a wonderland of green grass, exciting smells, and, most importantly, the perfect stage for serious ball-chasing. You toss it, I retrieve it. Simple, but a perfect game in my book. Sticks are also a highly prized possession, but the ball... the ball reigns supreme.

Learning new things is something I really enjoy. I'm told I’m a quick learner. Potty training is… well, let’s just say we’re making progress. And that leash? I’m starting to understand it means adventure! We go for walks, and I get to sniff all the interesting things.

You've introduced me to all sorts of creatures. The little humans – oh, the things they drop! Crumbles of food, toys, everything is a treasure. The other dogs? Playmates! Big, small, fluffy, sleek, it doesn’t matter. We romp, we sniff, we become instant friends. And even the aloof feline, the queen of the couch, tolerates me… mostly.

So, this is my life, so far. Full of sunshine, belly rubs, and the constant pursuit of that glorious, bouncing ball. I have many more adventures to look forward to with you!

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
