Lainey's Story
Beautiful Little Lainey was rescued from Alabama. She was seen being thrown out of a truck on the side of the road like garbage. A witness found her and brought her to their local (kill) shelter and we had to step in before it was too late.

Lainey's favorite pasttime is cuddling. Deep cuddling, the kind that penetrates all the way to your heart. If she's not snuggling her human foster, she's snuggling her foster siblings. She loves all toys, but squeakers are her absolute favorite. She does like playing tug of war with my other dogs... she prefers play with her people.

Lainey is a bit inconsistent with new people, as she is typically unreactive, but some people she will bark at when first meeting her. After some time, she calms down and is fine but she is hit or miss with people and other animals. On leash, she can pull a bit, but her foster is training her and she's doing well responding to that. She does bark at other people and dogs she sees while she is being walked, but with time and training she will settle down. She doesn't currently need a crate but is good with using one if that is your preference. She is walked regularly for toileting and enjoys the exercise. She is MOSTLY housebroken, but hates the cold which has led to a few in-house accidents early on. With a regular schedule, she should be a-okay!

If you've thought about adopting your very own "weighted blanket" then look no further. Sloppy kisses included!

Lainey has been decompressing in a loving foster home and is now ready for a family to call her own.

APPLY TO ADOPT NOW!!

https://rosemariesrescueranch.com/dog-adoption/

In the Consideration section, under 'Application Notes', please tell us about yourself to help us get a feel for you and your family, and as a fit for the pet you are interested in.
